Default Quick release tourpack

Thinking about buying to kit for my 2014 Ultra limited. Any of you guys have this on? How hard is it to put on? And does it work good once you get it on? Thanks

It fits just as good/easy as a detachable backrest. I would go with the locking latches now since you're piecing together a kit. Are you doing the king or chopped?

Not so much piecing together a kit. I see Harley sells the whole kit for about 560.00. Use my tourpack. I guess I was wondering if it's a clean look, and is it stable.

Mine is plenty stable loaded or unloaded with or without wife pillion.

You should probably look for a SG stock seat or equivlant as the UC seat is rather frumpy.

I was going to do that, also. Or maybe a solo seat.

Only negative, is the nylon bushings it attaches to, wear over time & need to be replaced, or it rattles.

Ah I see, so you have a permanently attached TP and want to do the detachables kit. There is a thread on here where someone did it and gave a review.

Nothing to it. You might want to get the kit as its the best bang for the buck.
Lights on the saddle bags and a license plate relocate kit are almost $300 alone.

FWIW most of the people I know with the QD Tour Pack never take it off. They usually cite the convenience of the trunk as a reason.
