Try Performance Machine. Their brake arms are lower than stock, not sure how much longer. Also, probably not 20 degrees lower, but made a huge difference to my ankle and look better than the other options I've seen. The smaller pad takes a bit of getting used to, but not that much.
I called EZ Brake and they provided some great information. First, I want the plain brake and they have it available. Softbrake said he didn't have any and could not tell me when he may make more.
Plus, EZ brake told me which dealer near me orders a lot of these. In my case, Wolverine Harley - not too far from me. I called them and they said they probably do about 2 - 3 of these each month. They charge $50 for the brake install.
Asked about the shiftier and was told that most gous don't have that done- just happy with the brake level.
Also asked about the extra spacers for the floor board - dealer said he could do that - but again, most just do the brake.
My question for those here that have either Softbrake or EX brake. Do you really need the shifter sie of the floorboard exenders.
For me, the shifter is OK
on my 15 road king i went with the kury spacers, 2.5" shifter and 2" brake. very comfortable now. i'm 6'5 w/ 32" inseam fwiw.
Well, I called the dealer to order the brake only. Got a call back from the parts manager - said they can order - but he wanted me to know he has the Kury in stock is t was $92. Suggested I come in a take a look (he would put one on hold for me.
Told him OK - will stop by Monday or Tuesday - hopefully they have a bike there with one installed that I can sit on.
