I'm sure there are some improvements, however once someone trades their 14 or 15 in on a 17, and takes a bath in the trade, then I'd imagine they believe there are VAST improvements to help justify the cost. I love my 15 RGS, I went from a 2010 Street Glide to it. I'd say it's a better bike than my 2010 , 96cid. with air shocks in the rear. I can't see trading or selling my 15 so soon, I put over 50,000 on my '10 in 6 yrs,,, only have 13,500 on my RGS.

It all comes down to, Go ride it, if it is worth it to you, by all means, go for it, everyone lives , thinks differently. I like my 14 limited, about 32,000 mi rt now, i may have got a new 17, but no colors that i liked well enough, maybe 18 will

Same for me, I hope they have a dark red King in 18.
The only thing that vastly improved, when comparing a 2016-2017, is the engine. The M8 is capable of so much more power, delivered so much smoother, and with less heat. If you truly want a vast improvement overall, go to a 2019+. That's saying so, begrudgingly, from a twin cam owner.
