The Boom updates have worked fine for me on a Mac. You have to be sure the USB is formatted FAT 32.

I just did mine - she is still sitting in the garage but it seems to have taken the update without issue

Loaded 1.20.3 about a week ago. No problems with 1.20.3, but I didn't really have any issues with 1.20.1. Well, except that there's no Sidetone on CB Transmit with either version.

With the latest version, can someone confirm the behavior of the compass on the GPS screen :

- compass needle always points north
or
- compass needle points in the direction you are traveling

Nah, but I did load the prior update without any change to my sound quality...I don't have any issues, so I'm not touching this update.

I got sidetone back with the version that they pulled right after they released it; I think .2 which I still have on there and sidetone works fine. I hope they didn't remove it again with .3 though.

The whole point of a compass is to show you where North is.

You can switch between north up or heading up for the map display.

I want 'heading up', in terms of GPS screen behavior, but 'directional needle', in terms of compass behavior.

Is that now possible ?
