Does anyone know where you can purchase the upgraded XM antenna or buy a new antenna for the XM module on the 6.5 Boom radio? I know you can not buy the antenna from Harley, it has to be the whole kit.
New, updated Harley XM/Sirius radio antenna is P/N 76000221A. If they have trouble finding it in the catalog at the dealership, tell them to look in the CVO catalog, it is there. Don't let them sell you the P/N 76000221 antenna, you want the "A" model. It will have the words "SIRIUSXM" embossed on it.
The earlier poster provided the correct info. Not sure why you said you knew it could not be purchased directly from Harley. Your local dealer can also provide this.
By the way, the new antenna really works (see my earlier post)
I called Harley parts online and they said that there was no updated antenna available. I guess they were wrong. I knew I remember seeing something a few weeks ago but I could not find it. I appreciate the help.

Baeseman1, nice option. Good to know there are other alternative routes.
I've had the 76000221A antenna for about 2 months or so. I have found it to be far superior to the original equipment antenna.
The antenna which came with my kit had SIRIUSXM embossed into it, but I'm not sure if it was the upgraded 'A' antenna or not.
All I know is that antenna failed and the Micro Dot is much better than the original.
As a side note - up until that antenna died, I thought it had pretty good reception.
That thought is a textbook definition of "You Don't Know, What You Don't Know"
Looked on eBay and there are several micro dot antennas for around 25.00
Are these the same antenna? I have a small factory one, reception is spotty around me, trees and mountains. Riding out west no issues.
