I had an ob and run w/it for 7 years.
It did what they said as far as reducing oil temp goes.
It does as lp says it reduces oil temp, not engine temp. (big difference). Take note.
My ob would always seem to loosen up around the adapter plate and then would leak.
I in my frustration over tightened the adapter plate which inevitably stripped out the threads of the adapter plate, so after 7 years and quite a few frustrations with it I pulled it and trashed it.
So now I am not running an oil cooler at all. I do have the HD analog fairing temp gauge.
I have recently purchased a used set of Wards Fans from a forum member.
I will hook them up fairly soon.
I want to see what temps the fans will get to then hook up the fans and see what they will do and then and only then will I consider getting an oil cooler again.
If I do this time I will go with the Ultracool Reefer as I have spoken with their R & D person Larry many times and feel that their design is the best thus far.
