When plugging phone to usb, Is there not an option to stream music via BT? Using Iphone.
Boom looks for media on the phone but i can't seem to stream music when plugged In, no BT only option.

My personal cell is an Android, but my work cell is iPhone. I have an iTunes account, so I loaded my work cell up with music. I had to open and start the music app to hear my songs. I'm mechanical minded and struggle with most elect technology. Perhaps someone else knows of another way, but this worked for me. Good luck.

Correct, I don't want to use the phone as an ipod or flash drive, i want to be able to charge my phone and use BT to stream Pandora or spotty.

To charge only, I have to plug it into the power port in the tour pak. Once the phone is plugged into the USB port, that's the only way it works. Before I got a usb thumb drive, I used BT with my iPhone for music.
