I put Clearwater Krista on the left and Erica on the Right. 9,000 Lumens is a heck of a lot of light, but I can dial them down to a low setting and use the brights to burn down the woods!
By the way, I could not find the hot lead on the high beam for FLHTK 2017. It's the blue and white, the Blue is low beam.
Ottomatics
Is there any special reason for mounting one of each light (the Krista and the Erica) as opposed to mounting a matched pair?
Very interested in this. Have been looking at Erika's myself ever since I installed the Harley LED Fog Lights, they just were not was I looking for.
I need something to light the turns at night. The light cut off on the Headlights and LED Fog Lights just don't cut it. Hammz/Ottomatics keep us informed on that please.
And now with my new interest in LD Riding, I find myself in the middle of the desert during the middle of the night frequently.
I kind of thinking it would be neat if you could replace the two spot lights on either side of the headlight with Erika's so that I could still keep some aesthetics.
and Ottomatics, why did you put two different lights on instead of a matching pair? (edit) Never mind, I found my answer... it's due to the light pattern on the two different lights.

When I was staying the night in Durango last year, someone with the same bike as me was parked right next to me, so I gave it a look over. They removed the passing lamps and installed Clearwater lights in their place. It wasn't as aesthetically pleasing as the stock passing lamps, but I bet they worked very well.
You should also consider a better headlight. JW speaker has a series that is reactive to turns. Model 8790. These are literally the manufacturer of Harley's Day Maker

WTF?
VooDoo might be "pretty" but I wanted function.
Cirro is, as you stated "second best," right behind Clearwater. I actually use Cirro's Bag Blades in the back.
With my Daymakers & Clearwaters together, the 8790 is just wasted $$$.
Installed the HD Fogs, got them from a friend, a little more light up front.
I put those (H-D LED Fog Lights) on my bike when they came out. Big waste of $$$ for me.
Ran them one season & then replaced them with Clearwaters.
They (H-D LED Fogs) are sitting in a box in my garage (only because I have a hard time throwing that much money in the trash). Glad you got them from a friend instead of buying at retail.
