Cirro is, as you stated "second best," right behind Clearwater. I actually use Cirro's Bag Blades in the back.
With my Daymakers & Clearwaters together, the 8790 is just wasted $$$.
WTF!? Have you even seen the light output of the options I suggested? Or are you just being rude? Most people buy a Streetglide vs. an Ultra (Limitedj, because they like the clean lines. I said they were the only lights I would put on a Streetglide. Talk about wasting money, why buy a Streetglide and then make it look like something else? Those Clearwater led’s Look very functionable, but if you don’t mind ugly, why not just get these... https://www.4wheelparts.com/Lighting...pn=RUG15210.02

I put those (H-D LED Fog Lights) on my bike when they came out. Big waste of $$$ for me.
Ran them one season & then replaced them with Clearwaters.
They (H-D LED Fogs) are sitting in a box in my garage (only because I have a hard time throwing that much money in the trash). Glad you got them from a friend instead of buying at retail.
Yes some of the others put out much more light, but i couldn't pass on this offer and i ride at night only if i get caught out. So with all the other lights it helps a little more of being noticed during the day.

Sorry you found it rude. Wasn't meant to be rude. Also sorry you don't like my Front Lighting Upgrade thread; was simply sharing what I did & my impressions of my upgrade.
Never seen the VooDoo lights. Only picture I found w/lights looks like their pattern is partially blocked by the front end. Not gonna do what I want.
I have seen the CiriusUSA lights. Look pretty bright in the photo you posted but they don't really have a beam pattern; they're more for being seen by other traffic than lighting the roadway at night. And I did mistake your post for the Ciro products, hence the Bag Blades comment.
The Darla lights are not ugly to me, but those Rugged Ridge units are extremely ugly to me. Even uglier than the Rigid Industries lights an acquaintance has on his Ultra.
I tend to spend a lit of time in the saddle at night. So purchased a set of LED MotoLights with some christmas cash. Install is coming soon. I am looking forward to the extra lighting on my Ultra. The ML people are super friendly.
I use my bike to commute also. Almost 50% of my riding is in the dark riding over the Appalachian trail returning from work. It gets dark as hell with deer and other critters everywhere.
Front fender/fork mount is not the only mounting option.
Here's a couple photos showing the lights mounted to the front engine guards of a late model CVO (not mine) using H-D's mounts for their LED Fog Lamps.
Which Clearwater mount is that that connects to the HD mount?
