Not sure if Im in the right place here.
I did some work on my bike (handlebars) and now the security system wants a pin every time I go to start the bike.
I managed to guess the factory # on the second try but it was to late, even though I can ride the bike, I still have to put the pin# in every time I start the bike..anyone else ever experience this?
just went to wally world and got batteries, that seems to have been it.
Amazing timing on the battery failure, right when I do a bit of work on the bike, had me thinking the anti theft had kicked in and was staying engaged..
feelling like a dumb ***...again

I would suggest changing your PIN# ASAP. You should have done that once you got the bike. If someone wanted to, they could basically hop on your bike, enter the factory code (1234) and be off with your bike...just saying.

Mine failed in a gas station parking lot this last weekend so it was fresh in my mind. Mine's a '14 also and it was my first battery change. I always keep a spare or two on the bike in case a fellow rider needs one, and they have!
