In the OP's original post, I didn't read where the dealer did an oil change. He said the dealer corrected issues the Indy messed up
Yep, we shouldn't turn this into an oil thread. I'll just end on I've been using Red Line in every vehicle I've owned (owned, not leased) for about 25 years now. And will continue to.
Has Redline's oil jumped up in price? I am of the opinion any good syn, is good. I can get Mobil 1 by the gallon for $25, for my truck. Buggers don't have gallons for bike, at least where I shop.
Redlines gear lube is $20. I an getting ready to switch based on principle.
I been running it in tranny, so I could tell what is leaking. But I won't be screwed over.
I'll flush with brake cleaner and air,and switch.
Try equal parts Alcohol, Hydrogen Peroxide, and Murphy's oil soap. Thats what we use to clean musket bores and it should do a real thorough job for you.

Just, why? Spending $10 extra every 10k miles on the best stuff out there for transmissions is offensive to you? Esp. Since it's already in there. I don't get ppl sometimes.

I am convinced the best. I just wanted a different color.
I don't like being screwed.
