I have a 2012 HD Ultra Limited. I want to add a stage1 kit. I already have slip on Rhinehart pipes and ordered the air cleaner. I was going to do just a download and the aircleaner. I was talking to the service guy at the dealer and he said that it's better if I did the tuner, he said with the download, it's once and done, with the tuner I can obviously make adjustments as needed. I'm so freakin confused as to which way to go.
mruth551, I have a 2015 Road Glide with Vance and Hines Slip On's, Air Filter, and Harley Download. My bike runs perfect!!! Harley stated if I was not going to do more mods in the future this is a great set up, if I decide to do additional mods I can always dyno, add a tuner, etc...Try going with the download, if not satisfied get the dyno, tuner, etc...But it's going to cost you...Good luck!!!
Don't get the download. I had that on my 05, cooked a set of pipes. Use a tuner that will adjust your afr so you can cool the bike down a bit. The download leaves the afr "lean". Which means it's still hot as hell. Will you be removing the cat? Or leaving the header stock?

with Fp3 . I want to keep my power train warranty in effect. First thing they note now is changes made to ecm and exhaust.
Extended warranty is the same . Mufflers are much cheaper than Engines and Transmissions.
