I'll bet those bags will slide quite a distance at freeway speeds.

I went to lowes yesterday and bought 4 ***** and spring bolts and washers

I may only install 1 in each bag but i didnt want to make 2 trips if i wanted to convert all 4

I will be using blue loctight thanks for the great info in this thread!!

Use a lock washer in that stack up for added security.

Put one in each Saddlebag. End of worries.

i bought the ***** and u clips as a set for 6 bucks on ebay. I haven't used them as yet because the dzus seems to be fine with the 2014 recall. hope i am right!

This is exactly what i did, except i added Nylock nuts to the backside. They are a pain to install and remove ,but the bag is not coming off without an allen wrench and box end.
