I just posted this in regular touring.... I've held off on a the 20s because of people's issues with side tone and echo and the freewire... This may be what we need. I still think it should be standard equipment, not an add on, and it should have been there from start. But that's just my opinion..lol

We are currently running two Freewires and two 20s headsets. We really enjoy the ability to communicate with each other and the bike. I am interested in this new module simply because it will allow us to free up space in the Tourpak. I think I will hold off buying it until some reviews are in.

We're using 2 Sena Cavalry helmets with 2 Freewires. I'd like to free up the space also...

The video doesn't really seem to cover the product very well. It shows some kind of wire harness laying there then a woman pushing something on her ear. Not sure what they're displaying. Maybe a little longer video with more emphasis on the wireless item instead of looking at bikes from a distance.

The WHIM module is an integrated Bluetooth module. It is made by Sena for HD. It will only work with Sena headsets. The lady you refer to is pushing a button on SPH 10 headset sold by HD. Apparently they are making this so riders that don't wear helmets or half helmets can still utilize all the functions of the infotainment system. I would think that since Sena is now a "partner" so to speak with HD, this and the Freewire are going to work much better with software updates from both HD and Sena. I guess we will see!

So some are saying this will work with the SENA S20 headsets?
The side tone is not an HD issue at all it is all SENA software issue. They do it on bike with not radio on it.
If it works with the SENA S20 I would order one .
The wording is confusing it say :
Wireless Headset Interface Module only
Wireless Headset Interface Module Harness sold separate
So there are 2 parts you need to buy?

It is supposed to work with Sena 20s headsets and all those that work with the Sena Freewire including the Sena Calvary helmet. You do have to buy the extra harness for 14-17 Rushmore's. The harness that comes with the module is for the 2018 models.

I am calling dealer soon as they open. We have dual SENA S20. Having about 30% hearing loss the head sets work well for talking to my wife. I was planning on going with two freewires to make use of the other options. This sounds better. SENA not perfect but way ahead of my outdated Cardo scalarrider Q3's their time has passed.
I wonder why harness would be different for a 2017 same bike as the 2018.
