Technically it's still a road king, but Basically yes. Road king and street glide share same frame, engine etc. I'm certain there are minor differences that others will point out. If you wired up an OEM batwing then most won't be able to tell the difference. If it's aftermarket, it will be rather obvious it's not a SG

No,Road King has 13" shocks.Street Glide has 12" shocks.Road King will have more suspension travel, hence better ride.

Your Road King would become a Street King with a Fairing.

NO, you will just have a RK with a fairing - not a bad thing but Not a street Glide... Dash is VERY different I Like the RK and if it were not for touring and riding two up - I would most likely get a RK - Love the classic look - a fairing would take away from that

I'm sure you have a good reason for asking this question. Most people who buy the RK do so for its classic look without the fairing. SG riders want the fairing. Rather than modifying the RK, if you prefer the batwing, I would look for a nice SG.

No. You would have a degraded RK. Ipod and ear buds. No one cares to hear your music selection. Recurve windshield and a set of lowers dresses it up nice.

Bruce Jenner is now Caitlin, just cause you dress it differently its still a man.

Same here, started life as a RK, change its clothes, replace its fairing, still a RK...

:-)
