Default JNR Wiring Question

I'll start by saying that I have no doubt this question can be answered with one phone call on Monday morning. But...it's Saturday night and the weather tomorrow is suppose to be wonderful.

I received today my dash board switches for the rear air ride. I connected the switches to the factory plug behind the dash (that part has gone flawlessly).

The next step is, "Take the grey plug and plug it into the matching plug behind the left side panel" Done, no problems there.

Under Basic Wiring Instructions the first step says, "If single function, (which I my system is) there will be three wires. Yellow equals up. White equals down. Blue is a 12V keyed source for anything requiring 2 AMPS or less." After I disconnected the under seat switch, I connected the blue from the grey plug to the blue from the JNR harness and the yellow to the yellow.

My problem now, when I turn the ignition switch on, the compressor continuously runs.

Where did I mess up?

Do you have an air leak? Is the up switch in on position?

Been looking at the JNR myself. Everything I'm seeing there is no pressure switch in any of the schematics or solenoids which means the switch controls the compressor. Switch on, compressor on. Hopefully someone that owns the setup can comment.

it's probably has something to do with the switch panel wires. the base kit is set up to run without the switch on.
the base kit is pretty straight forward.
also...@chopperman look at the crash bar tank kit on jnr web site...it has a schematic for the pressure switch. base kit doesn't need one. I have the crash bar tank kit with CD remote. it is a sweet set-up.

Check the wires on your switch. Dealer installed mine and tech said the wires on switch were reversed. I don't think the compressor stayed on, but it sure sounds like a wire somewhere.

I have the air tank on left side and RHR to control set height. Very slick setup. Another couple months of snow before The better half can test the ride out though.

That is exactly how the basic system works. With the JNR kit, there is a switch under the seat. They system works great, I just wanted to move to the dash switch.

As I assumed, the problem was resolved with a single phone call (and in the interest of honesty, a couple text messages) to Ray. Turns out a small mistake was made when the grey plug that goes behind the panel on the left side was wired. 5 minute fix. Ray sent clear instructions on how the plug should be wired and a video on how to disassemble the plug. The bike was up and running in no time at all.

I cannot explain how happy I am not only with the system as a whole, but with the service provided JNR. I would not hesitate at all to order another kit from them.

Do you have the video or wiring diagram for the dash panel switches, I am having a hard time get the switch wired. The switches i got from JNR have a purple, gray and orange wire needing to be connected, but not sure where?

Check the bleed valve to make sure it's at least cracked open. The more it's open the faster it dumps. If it's closed it won't let any air bleed when you hit the switch.
