Just received my 2/1/2 Jackpots, I am disappointed that htey did not come with a round crossover, they'll happily sell me one for 160.00, but at the price I paid for the headers >600.00 I thought it would be Included.
they suggest using the flat stock crossover, it's their opinion that the round one would be of no benefit. I have used VH DX round cross over Included, also used Fullsac and also Included round crossover. Thinking of returning and going back to F.S.
I switched from the Power Duals to the Jackpot in order to go back to the stock height (vice the lower hanging PD's). I loved the PD's but after hitting hard on a right hand curve, they had to go. When ordering, FM actually talked me out of the the full crossover as I do not run a big build. The stock squished crossover gives it somewhat of a "2-1 like" scavenging if I remember correctly. Given the reason I changed headers, I took their advice as that is also another item not hanging lower than stock height since I have the Low version of the Rushmore. For a Stage 1 or 2, I think they said I would only see 1 maybe 2 hp and torque increase with the $160 full crossover. The price to performance ratio was high for my setup and FM wanted to ensure they set my expectations which I appreciated. I am afraid to calculate the $ to hp and torque I have spent thus far, but I am not at $160 to 1 hp / 1 lb. With that information, I did not buy the full crossover.
~2,500 miles on the FM Jackpot and have been back to The Dragon with not one scratch or hard hit with these headers.
Would it have been nice to have, yes .

Love my Fuel Moto jackpot header and mufflers. Have been running them for 6 years starting with my 2012 FLHTK and then moved them to my current 2014 FLHTK, no need for a round crossover.
I ordered the same from fuel moto and from the beginning understood if I wanted the cross over it would be extra at no time was it implied that it came with the headers
as said above I talked with them and they did not recommend that it was needed for my set up
been running this for almost a year and no problems
my advice is to understand what you order talk with the seller if not sure /// don't bash them for your misunderstanding
they are good people have stepped in and helped me with out being asked

This is exactly it. Been running mine for a couple years now and could not be happier. In my experience FM is top notch
I had the jackpot for some time with the FM A/C for stage I. When I decided to do bolt ons -48s - my tuner suggested the full-size crossover. Not wanting to leave anything on the table for a stage II I bit. So I sure don't know what the differential may have been but the bike runs good! One thing I did notice is that I see a lot more condensation steam out of the left side than the right. I hope that doesn't mean anything but more moisture sitting in the pipe.
