Default Adding Security

getting a bonus and am considering adding security. Want to source it from boardtracker or Surdyke.com (or what ever the call themselfs now)

is there a way to do this full DIY? Or does adeLer have to flash and program the fobs?

What bike model and year do you have?

Edit: By the way, I’ve bought many items from Surdyke and others. But, if you are buying something that you are not quite sure about, or might want to get some dealer advise, consider saving the 15% and get from your local dealer.

kind of following this too. I have nearly pulled the trigger on adding security/alarm to my 2016 ultra limited a couple of times. Seems to be about $300 or so for the module, alarm and wireless keyfob.
EDIT:
Well things changed since I last looked at security for the ultra - I see two options including H-D Smart Security System at about $360 with fobs and the Smart Siren II Security System which I think works with a pager/receiver and you have to get a FOB as well.

If you're talking about the Smart Siren II Security System, it's a do it yourself since I believe you already have the standard security system.

The cheaper option is just an alarm from what I can read. The more expensive option, which requires dealer install, disarms the bike if I am reading everything correctly. I will probably go the cheaper route, myself. Not sure what path the OP is considering.

Adding the siren to an existing, activated security system is a DIY. Adding the security module requires the dealer to "marry" the fobs through a quick flash process. Some have reported having the flash done for free by negotiating with the dealer at the time of module purchase. Most reported (me included) that the dealer charged 1/2 hour labor to do the flash. Hope that helps.

If this is the 15 Road Glide Custom (seen in another post) didn't it come with fobs? If so it already has "security". If you're wanting to just add the siren and possibly a pager (the two items Squirrelsnest posted links to), that is absolutely a DYI thing and no dealer flash required.

I have a 2018 electra glide ultra classic and it did not come with security. I am considering adding it too.
