I quite often ride with my thumbs over the top of the grips next to my fingers - that helps.

I have grip puppies on my grips. They are foam covers that slide over your grips and give some cushion. I got mine off of amazon and really like them they take out a ot of the vibration.

I second the CrampBusters…
I have the long CrampBusters (cb3) on both grips.
Seems to work for me by allowing me to use my palm.

My grip puppies were just delivered today, they're a pain to put on (only one so far)

Squirt some dish soap inside the grip puppies and rub it around to lube them, they will slide on by just keep pushing and twisting. the dish soap will dry and actually act like a glue to keep them in place. I have had them on two bikes and will always put them on. they work good for these old beat up hands.
