i found a pair of grips i wanna put on the bike,my experience with grip glue is not a good one i followed the directions i clean the old glue off,apply the glue evenlly,slip on the grip and let the glue cure, but eventually the throttle grip does not stay and eventually slips off.and then im back to step one.what glue are you using besides the glue you get from the bike shops?or what am i doin wrong?i know its not rocket science but the glue im using from the tube sux

I have never used "grip glue" and have never had a problem with grips coming off. The housing that has your switches should capture the grip and jold them in position.

well i'll take it apart and clean the glue back off and see whats up with it.maybe i will try a stickier glue instead.

Are you really trying to glue the throttle grip ... clutch side grip is the only one that you want to glue

Only glued the clutch side on mine too. I used Gorrilla Glue, hasn't come off. Make sure you do the prep correctly. I used a piece of emery cloth to clean the bar before putting the the grip on. You could also use some acetone after sanding to make sure it's clean, that will help for sure. I sanded and wiped down with acetone when preping the tub of my Jeep, good prep is the key.

i didnt have to when i first put the grip on,after awhile pullin on the throttle it would slide off,not alot but enuff to be a pain in the ***.to have to keep sliding it back up.thats when i asked the guy at the cycle shop i was suppose to glue it,its not like the gorilla glue,its not that sticky if you have to remove the grip
