I recently replaced all 3 pad sets on my 2014SGS. I was hoping for less brake dust then the OEM Brembos and purchased Sintered HH pads from D2Moto.
These things really whirl with noise. I took the rears off and lightly sanded them to see if that might help. No luck!
Is there anything else I can try or juck them and buy the HD Brembos and deal with the dusting?
You need to chamfer the edges. Will remove about 90% of the buzz.
Thanks chopper_man, i'll give that a try. Wonder why the manufacturer wouldn't do so during the build process?
BTW....."Buzz" is the perfect term for what I'm experiencing with my brake pads!

i looked at these brakes and on the website it shows the DP962 is standard but the SDP962 is optional, do you know the difference between the two i cant seem to find it on the website?
Chamfer helped with 70% of the buzz. The fronts are now quieter than the single rear. May put on a couple of hundred before trying the DP962's or OEM Brembos for the rear.
I'm probably keyed into the noise because of my OCD now! Need to give the D2Moto's a few hundred to lap in.
Did you get the center channels as well? I hit mine with a triangle file. Funny, the buzz drove me batty for the first few hundred til I tried the chamfer. Few hundred after and din't really hear it anymore unless I really listen. About 5k on them now and still buzz a bit. I think it's because the cross-drills on the rotors are not chamfered. They stop awesome tho once seated!
