Default Dreaded P1510 code

Ok, like a lot of people I get the P1510, P2127 and P2138 codes after a handlebar install with internal wiring. I know those are the twist grip sensor so I pull it all apart and do it all over again. I used dielectric grease on the molex connectors and the one for the TBW is a pain to pull apart but apparently it worked. No more codes. So I go for a ride for a few hours Sunday afternoon and all is well ……………… until today (Tuesday). I go for a short ride at lunch, look down and there is that damn engine light again. I check the codes and the same ones. I did clear them after they didn't come back before so shouldn't be from the first time and the cruise don't work again. The only thing I did since I parked it when there were no codes, was to push the left controls up a bit to fill in the gap between the 1.25 inch and 1 inch part of the bars at the control. So would anything on the left side control have anything to do with the P2127 and P2138? I really don't want to run those wires for the 3rd time. Bike is a 2014 Road King. It doesn't have the 'green' connector I've read about. This one is black with white inside.

I stand corrected. Pulled the twist throttle back out and it does have a green connector I never noticed before. I'll concentrate on that
