Great miles. Thanks I really appreciate it. Mine has just over 8200
I would recommend both of you buy an aftermarket warranty (i.e. not from HD).
Compensator, hand control failure, ticking lifters (could signify shorter life), - the more common ones. Others are quite varied so the list would be a lot of research work and I would consider them much rarer. Mine came from the factory with an improperly installed neck bearing seal.

Pushing 25k on my 15RGS. Only things i've replaced is fluids and tires and a battery. 90% of my riding is highway so no shifter shaft issues for me and i make sure to check the torque every riding season once or twice. Their was a bag pin recall and clutch recall of which both were completed prior to my buying it with 1300 miles on it at 21k $ in 2015.
One of there better builds. Bought mine new and shifter shaft was the only warranty issue besides a small leak in tranny which was not common to these bikes. Very good bike.
