Default Who's Running Amber Passing Lights on a Limited

I have been looking at Denali and Clearwater aftermarket driving lights with amber / yellow lens options. My wife hates them and does not like the look on our style bike.

I've found that there are some replacement passing lights on the market that are amber but the price is so low compared to comparable clear/white name brand LED's that I really question the quality and how bright they actually are.

Is anyone running them? If so what brand and how do you like them? Any feedback is appreciated.

They get pretty good reviews on Amazon. Plus, at $42, if they don't work out, you haven't lost a ton of money.

Yea, I just checked and it looks like they gave up their motorcycle windshield and light guard line. They just do aircraft plastics now. I also had a cool windshield from them

I have not changed out the white LED passing lamps on my '16 Ultra for yellow passing lamps... yet .....

On my former '12 Limited, I switched the OEM passing lamps, for similar yellow colored passing lamps (not LEDs)...

It may just be my imagination, but when I viewed the difference, it seems to me that the yellow lights will be more visible to other drivers during daylight hours... Again, not a scientific test, just my personal observation/opinion...

I think it is the DIFFERENCE that catches their eye / attention. Back with cars started coming out with the LED on the front full time we noticed them. Now pretty much all newer vehicles have the white lights. I have noticed on the Dodge Challengers that the amber spots really catch my attention. On my Iron Butt ride week before last I was blasting down I-95 heading toward Savannah, Ga. I look in my mirror and see a bike catching up to me fast with super bright lights. Cars were moving over for this guy who had some super bright white LED's and Amber / Yellow. His appeared to be more yellow and they looked awesome. I'm ruising at 80 mph and he rolls my me with a thumbs up on a Ducati. I assume he had either Clearwater or Denali lights. I'm not ready to make that investment yet. But it makes a huge difference in my opinion.
