Just bought and installed today the Hogworkz front LED, and it's bright, easy install and is 269.98

I'm sure that's a quality light. I personally don't like the look.

It's a kind of "typical" design. I looked at some of the adaptive LED's (not Harley's $899 model that's for sure), and to me those look like bug eyes. LOL. I went with this for the price and quality. When it's on it looks good. I like the halo as well.

Many thanks all for the great replies and good information.

I have to take the bike in soon for the 30k service so I will press them again and just see if I can get it covered under the ESP warranty.

Yes in doing some more research the Vision X, Denali and the Custom Dynamics are all the same under different names. The company that makes and designed it is in Washington State, however they are manufactured in the Asian rim. They do have a good reputation and based on the feedback here it is a good light. Ryan on Law Abiding Biker picked it first over HD, Kuryakyn and another. His test and review was good.

Yes I do prefer to buy American. Correct me if I am wrong but doesn’t J.W. Speaker make the HD OE light? I have not looked at it based on the quality of the stock lights.

Thanks again.

Even if LED's headlights are designed here they are all more than likely made in China. As I posted on another thread the dirty secret about the "environment friendly" lighting is that making them deals with a lot of toxic chemicals, thus production in China where they don't give a crap about stuff like that..The key is the quality systems that are in place for the larger more reputable companies doing business there. The inexpensive lights are of questionable quality from the LED's themselves to the housings that they package them in.
