Which LED Headlight?

Did they say why / on what basis?
I recently has an issue that the dealer thought should be repaired under warranty. H-D denied the claim.
I pushed-back... They claimed the issue was due to lack of maintenance. My records are meticulous. I noted that I followed the maintenance schedule. I also noted that I could not find anything specific in the maintenance schedule with respect to my issue in the Owner's manual or the Service manual. I asked for reconsideration / escalation. Voila. Free repair.
My point - politely push back. Ask for escalation. Get a hold of your regional rep (dealer can put you in contact with). Make your case respectfully and in writing
$500+ dollars you can spend elsewhere. Good luck!

Well my HD LED on the 2017 Limited started developing moisture inside late last year. Turn it off and it clears up and looks perfect. Run the bike and you get that moist haze! It appears I will not get this replaced under warranty. Kind of stinks.
While I really like the look there is no way I will pay for one of the same since so many have the same issue and HD does not care. I keep hearing it does not affect the performance!
So that said under $500 bucks what is the best bang for the buck today on LEDs. Ive watched a few YouTubes and the Vision X seems to get good reviews. I like Custom Dynamics and Denali. What do you guys like and have good service with?

P.S. I pulled the headlight off and checked it closely. Removed those paper looking patches and took a hair dryer to it. Within five minutes of turning it back on it had already fogged up again.

Interesting update to this story. First off we rode through extremely heavy rain for hours which is what I contribute the original problem to. Went to two dealerships and they would not even try to warranty the light. Fast forward and we did not get much at all for about six months. On a recent ride I realized that our headlight is no longer fogging up! Go figure. I guess the moisture has got gone out. Guess well see what happens the next time it rains.
