I'm riding almost 40 years.
Been real happyntoe shifting.
Never even THOUGHT of doing it any other way.
Didn't even k ow there was another way.....till I bought my 2010 RK...and it had/has a heel shifter on it.
Tried it a few times......hate it!!
I find it really awkward.....I gotta change foot placement to engage it.
Is it just me?
Or is it as annoying as I've found it?
Gonna remove it when I get a second......just curious about you other folks.
Tx!
I never cared, but then got touring bike with it... use it all the time, best thing is not creating holes on top of my boots (yes, that actually happened to one )
I had a Fat Boy with a heel shifter and liked it. I removed it from my RGS because I hated it. Gave it to my buddy and he installed it on his '22 RGS. As stated above, it's a preference thing.
