I've installed earlier closable vents on my '22 and loved it, unfortunately it's been taken out by an idiot on Prius, so can't say anything about durability. There are quite a few videos on YT on how to DIY fix them, so I wasn't scared to install them.

That doesn't surprise me a bit. I RARELY open the vent anyhow so for the most part, it doesn't get operated that often to wear it out. I guess that's why the one in my 14 SGS with 177,000 miles on it still works as designed.......
