14SGS so far so good never updated my 6.5 , i phone paired Bluetooth works I'm able to switch from radio to phone music and still use Nav. However I prefer to use a flash drive for my music. my only complaint so far is when I did plug my phone in there isn't much room in jukebox, for wire I need a short jumper but like I stated I prefer the flash drive.
I've been trying to pick through the many threads & posts after searching on the Boom Audio issues , lot's of stuff to sort through.
My 4.3 doesn't sync well with my ipod Nano , it connects but sounds like a weak signaled radio station , the music also speeds up , slows , and periodically pauses. The ipod functions fine on it's own so I'm pretty sure it's the Boom unit at issue.
I'm at 1.17.1.2 firmware , does the 1.18.2 seem to resolve these types of issues ?
It did in my unit, and HD has not removed the update like the previous ones that screwed things up, that probably means it fixed alot of issues from the previous updates.
Have you checked your Speed Volume?

i have a 2014 ultra classic and my unit froze..4th time its done it and pulled battery cable to reset it now I have no sound, bluetooth and it wont read my media??
When I first got my 14 Ultra I bluetoothed a windows 8 phone to it. When I had the headset on and a text msg came in it would tell me through the headset I had a text msg, who it was from and if I wanted to hear, ignore or delete it.
I could listen to the message then get options to reply or not. I could say what I wanted and it would sent it back.
This function stopped working with Win 8.1. I tried iphones, LG and Samsung but could next get that to function again. When Win 10 came out it started working again. I suspect it was Windows Cortana that made it work
Of course Windows phones are going away and I wish I could find another cell that would work like that. Anybody have a cell that can do that?
When trying to pair my Bluetooth helmet to the bike it says I may need PIN 0000 and pairing fails. The Helmet pairing instructions says to enter PIN 0000 but there is no option I can find to enter it. Anyone know to enter a Bluetooth device PIN on a 14 Ultra Classic?

You'll need to add WHIM to the bike if you want to pair BT helmet to the bike. Standard radios for 14's will only pair with BT phones, not BT helmets.
