Has anyone tried using there Ipod to play music while plugged in to the USB adapter. I selected USB in the Media menu but nothing happens. The Ipod shows to be playing on its screen, but nothing coming out the speakers. My Iphone does fine on Bluetooth, but I would prefer to use the Ipod if possible. Read the book twice with no luck on this subject. HAs anyone else tried to use there Ipod successfully yet??
If you see the IPOD playing on the screen, I might suggest that ether your volume is not up high enough for you to hear the music - or you don't have your system set on speakers.
One last thing - while the IPOD works fine, I have found it easier to connect a flash drive with all of my music. This way, you need not worry about the IPOD, etc
Yea the Itunes and MP3 don't do well together. I use a cheaper Sansa Clip to play my music files because I refuse to deal with the Apple crap. I do have a IPhone but that's it. I thinking you may not be able to do Itunes on a thumb drive.
It's as simple as copy and paste, or you can drag and drop. I just did it, to try it. Works fine!
Also make sure the iPod cable you are using is not a cheap knockoff or missing pins. Some of the real cheap ones will only charge, but not transfer data.

That is one thing that I thought of also, so I will be trying a different connector to.
Thanks
I use the iPod nano. It's small but works great. I have loaded my CD's onto iTunes and then to my iPod.
For some reason the songs that I purchase on iTunes have higher volume than the songs I copy from CD's. No biggie. I tried using a thumb drive but was unable to properly use iTunes. The iPod nano works perfectly.
