Seems to me the previous saddle bags would hold a case of beer if you fit it in just right, on the new ones this isn't possible. Had to dump all the cans in one bag and crumple the box in the other. So much for customer input on the Project Rushmore

Hmm. I threw an 18 pack of Bud in the saddle bag of the Limited I rented last week... With room to spare. But then again you're talking about a case (24 beers). That particular box of brews can sometimes be shaped very boxy like. Though it will vary in shape, depending how beers are stacked in box, from manufacturer to manufacturer.... And region to region. This is the first legitimate issue I think I've read on the Rushmore bags. I will be following this development.
Isn't there a cooler insert for the saddlebags? Open saddlebag cooler, open case and dump upside down in said cooler bag. Taaa Done!
I suppose that could be a pain to get beer from bag to fridge, but at least you wouldn't have to stick that first one in the freezer to get it back to being nice and cold (I like my beer super cold)
