Default Mustang Seat for taller ridder?

Hey guys I have a 2014 Street Glide I am 6'6 300lbs Ive looked at the harley tall boy seat not a fan of how it looks. I was wondering about the mustang day tripper seat? Looks like it may give me couple more inches of room while still looks nice. Has anyone tried one of these?

Mustang day tripper is a beautiful seat. I just put one on my bike yesterday, i'm 5' 8", 150 lbs, so our size is at different end of the spectrum.

I got the rolled and pleated seat, fits perfectly, high quality materials, tough material but it feels very soft and extremely well made. It drops you down about and inch and also back three quarters to an inch. It is pretty narrow, so it fits my narrow A** just right. I love the seat.

It gives you room to either move forward or sit back and you stay planted unless you decided to move. I also bought the knurled **** mustang Quarter Turn that fits in the same threads as the Harley Phillips head, a nice touch (8 dollars for the chrome one) and no tools needed to tighten or remove it.

I'm 6'6" and 210lbs and presently have the TB on my 2014 Limited. I'm good for about 1 hour before I get the famous butt burn.

On my previous bike a 2010 Limited I went through 8 seats before settling on a custom made Hartco out of Florida, I was doing 10 hr days for a week without issues last year. I tried Hammock, 3 Ultimates, 2 Saddlemen, and Mustang, they all resulted in Butt Burn, the Mustang was the worst.

The problem for us long legged guys is that we don't get the hamstring support we need with all these brands of seats, resulting in more weight on the butt bone. All seat manufacturers design the seat with a narrow nose so it's easier to put your feet down. They haven't figured out that if we have long legs we don't have a problem putting our feet down.

The Hartco is wider up front, I could barely plant both feet on the ground. It got wrecked in my accident, so after doing a demo ride using the TB seat I ordered one. But after 3,000 miles I can tell you its going to be replaced with another Hartco.

Not pushing the Hartco, but if you can get someone to build you a seat with more hamstring support I think you'll be very happy.

Good first hand report, and taller guys should pay attention, one size does not fit all, 5' 8", narrow ***, perfect fit.

Find a good local seat builder. It cost more up front, but after you spend money on several seats finding the "right" one you have actually spent more.

Great, i like it and i think you will be amazed at how soft the seat is to the touch. (rolled and pleated).

I am just a day tripper, so this seat is like having one custom made.
