I had an FXLR built at the end of May 2018 and it came installed from the factory.
That's good info. Thanks!

Gonna be a LONG day of work today

Good luck, I hope you get it!

About your narrow vs. wide primary cover question, I don't believe it'll be a problem for you. One sit on the bike and you'll know for sure.

Anything on the 2018s that I need to pay particular attention to?
I noticed that the 2019+ low riders come with the narrow profile primary cover. Is that a big deal? I'm 5'9" with 30" inseam so don't think I'll need the added clearance but not sure?
Amy other tips y'all can give me when I check this thing out at the dealer?
Thanks
I didn't know there was a difference in primary covers between the 2018 and 2019 Low Riders. Learn something new every day. LOL
With that said, I have a 2018 Low Rider and I'm 5'10". I have no problems with it.

Was able to work out a deal for this 2018 so I brought it home with me.

Having some issues already, doh!
The bike has a feuling vented dipstick and I think the dealer overfilled the oil so it was puking oil out the vent. Oil got all over the muffler and rear caliper when I got home(didn’t notice during short test ride).
The front brake makes a squealing sound sometimes as the bike is almost stopped. Sounds like a dump truck.

Nice looking bike, I have a 2020 FXLR. You're all set with the windshield and sissy bar-rack, nice set up. My brakes have never been noisy but have read on here about others whose are. Will be a great bike for ya once you get the oil thing sorted out.

Learn to check your own oil, I keep the level at 1/2 on the dip stick. The front brake noise might just go away with use.
