Personally I like the Neighbor Haters overall on my M8, but I also like my Big Shot Staggered on my ‘09 Fatbob...

i just don’t think he VH sound the same on the M8

There are so many choices out there I'm as confused as a baby in a t!tty bar. Reinhart is too expensive in my opinion. I may as well get pipes. What I'm looking for is a great sou d with no resonating when I let off throttle. The ends of the head pipe are a bit small and for them to go into a 3 inch muffler just dont seem free flowing enough. Someone correct me but the CAT is in the head pipe? Couple that with the reduced ends and it's like blowing a mouth full of cinnamon through a straw. For 1500 bucks I can get the radius pipes, FP3 and the air cleaner I like and I'm all set. Still weighing my options.

On the Low Rider the cat is in the muffler.

I've heard the 3 inch slash slip on and the neighbor haters. Any feedback would be helpful.
Don't know about the loudest, but the Vance and Hines Eliminator 300's are pretty loud in a good way.

My M8 FXLR sounds great with these V&H Staggered Shortshots.
V&H Staggered Shortshots work for me.

I love the sound of the Neighbor Haters on mine.

Here is a clip of the V&H 300s

Here are Cobra Speedsters, full exhaust at a better price than V&H

Hi all. I'm looking at the LR. Only thing I don't like is how high the pegs seem to be. My knees feel higher then on my Sporty that also has mids (and a low profile seat). I'm 6' and wear 33" inseam jeans. I do prefer mids with highway pegs rather than forwards.

Anyone else think the pegs are pretty high? Is there an adjustment or aftermarket mid that moves down a few inches? I haven't seen anything.

I think a part of why the pegs feel high is because the seat is low. A thinker seat would provide a slightly more comfortable rider triangle whereas lower pegs would decrease lean angle/cornering clearance for which the Low Rider has as an attribute.

Like I said,..my Sporty has a low pro seat as well. You would think the Sporty would be more cramped. But if more lean angle is what they were going for,...that makes sense. I just don't like sitting too high on a bike. I'm sure someone will eventually manufacture further forward mids.

Now that I think of it,...the LR seemed more cramped than the Street Bob which also has mids. Maybe because the LR seat pushed me forward too much. I'll have to check them out again.

I found the stock Low Rider seat does push you forward, at least it felt like it to me. I ended up ordering a seat that will sit me back about an inch, can't give a report on it yet as my bike is still in the shop.

I put the HD Tallboy seat on mine, for now. It doesn't raise you much, if at all - but it does move you back about 2" from the stock seating.position. Which is good for me. I am 6'2" and find the stock pegs are perfect for me with the Tallboy. But everyone is different.
