Took bike out for 160 miles today, runs real nice, pulls noticeably stronger on freeway 4th and 5th gear. It's louder than the Street Cannons but idle is quiet and no annoying drone on freeway but sound note changes with RPM used to cruise. Noticeable decel Jake Brake sound but no pop or back fire. Sounds awesome under full acceleration. Didn't do any fine tuning to the Fuel Moto map on the Power Vision yet so maybe will improve from here.
The Low Rider is quite a light bike already, don't think my bike needs a "torque" cam, maybe something like the S&S 475 will work well here.
No rain today, finally!
Did some Power Vision auto-tuning, 4 sessions, 15-25 min. long. Rode to 4 different destinations, mixing up city, freeway and country type driving. I didn't test ride #4 save yet but on #3 can tell the bottom is a bit smoother, and mid pulls strong in the city. The 107 has a sweet midrange with the stock cam, I felt this on the freeway last Friday in the form of roll on power. It's fun just running through the gears once you're in that midrange zone. I suppose a cam change is next, but no hurry cause bike is big fun till then.
Well damn, it's there when I look at it. Innerwebz acting wierd again. Here ya be.
Thanks for reminding me of that one.
Not the best photo for checking the line of the bike but they do look good.
I wonder if the 16s would look a bit spindly. Don't see many Harleys around here to check out.
It's a lot of cash to shell out and find I don't like it and I'd rather not do the work myself on a brand new bike (yeah, I know)

Yeah I kind of figured that would be the case. If you look at the Harley catalog the way they state warranty requirements it would seem like that you would almost have to have HD screamin eagle mufflers on your bike to keep the warranty intact.
But I bet a lot of times it is up to the individual dealer as to how he wants to handle that as long as the ECM hasn't been altered by a non-hd tune
I could be wrong but I would think any pipes that don't include the catalytic converters (and most don't) would void the warranty if the dealer wants to be tough about it. Removing the cats obviously makes the bike non EPA compliant.
You probably aren't actually running rich. Opening up exhausts or intake without altering the tune generally would cause a leaner rather then a richer condition. However every internal combustion engine will exhaust unburnt fuel. By changing to slip ons without cats, you're now smelling it. Even with the bike possibly running lean.
Maybe that was it. Makes sense I guess without the cats. The smell was pretty strong so I assumed it was running rich, and I figured maybe the oxygen sensors were causing it. Anyway I installed a SE Ventilator and FP3 tuner and it runs great now. Way more snappy than stock. The Low Riders are light, they really haul pretty good stage one.

I was considering the Cobra NH, do you like the sound?
