I mean the Fat Boy has some pretty long leg compatible forwards with floor boards. How tall are you?
I'm 6,2. They come with mids correct? I had 2inch extended forwards on my last bike (2010 FXDWG). I'm thinking mini apes and forward controls would be pretty sick on a Fat Boy...

An M8 Fat Boy comes with Forwards.
I'm a 5ft10in gal, with long legs, and I find the stock floorboards to be perfect.
I got short arms so I got the fat curved riser for some pullback.
Are you sure you're talking about a Fat Boy here?

No, the Fatboy comes with forward floorboards. I do not know if there is a kit to change to mid or peg controls. Also, the Fatboy does not come with a heal shifter.

I traded my 2010 dyna wide glide for my fatboy. The forward controls on a dyna were way forward even compared to my brother's night train, as well as his 2018 breakout. I feel cramped with the floorboards because I am still used to the fxdwg. I am considering going to pegs, or getting the DK Customs +1" out/ +2" forward extension blocks for the boards. I'm a hair under 6" with stubby legs. It isn't bad, but I'm used to that laid-back riding posture.
if you had EXTENDED forward controls on your wide glide, expect a fat boy to feel super short. You sit more upright, and you don't see the raked front end in front of you while riding.
Installed Kodlin Neowise rear signals. Ran a fourth wire and mx1900 connector socket and re-pinned to European 4-wire specs. Soldered, heat shrink, and PET expandable wire loom. 3 new Christmas tree cable ties.
DK Customs axle license plate mount with custom dynamics LED plate frame. Notched plate. Ran wires through plate mounting slot. Solder, heat shrink, PET wire loom. Ran wires under lower swingarm bar with black cable ties, around pivot and up behind battery and tied along rear signal wires. Clean install which will be completely hidden when I finally decide on a swing arm bag.
I need to have the BCM flashed to add the dedicated brake light circuit at my service later in the week. Until then, I have amber stop lights.
