Had a 2019 Heritage Classic for 2 years and loved the bike... usually ran it without bags and windscreen. The long travel rear-shock did a great job of smoothing out the bumps. Planned on doing some touring and wanted better wind management and made the mistake of trading it in on a new Road Glide. Of course, never did the touring and the suspension is atrocious. Add to that, I've been enjoying the backroads primarily so my needs have changed. Every time I sit on that Fat Bob, it feels amazing. I'm 5'9 with a 30" inseam. Anyone cross-shopped with the heritage (or come from a Heritage or Touring model?
I had a TC Fat Bob ( Denim Black with Red Stripe)a few years ago which I did a lot of miles on and slowly traded up over the last few years to a 21 SGS, but I have recently bought an 18' FXFB 107 as a daily rider and a project bike, I still have the SGS for touring with the wife on the back, but the FXFB is all mine, lol
I recently traded in my 2020 XL1200X Forty-Eight...
For a 2022 FXFBS Fat Bob 114. Here it is with a new Vance and Hines slip-on exhaust and a Pro Street Tune.
I really enjoyed the Forty-Eight but it didn't take long to outgrow it...

Little update. La choppers 6" kage fighters on stock cables. Not sure how it'll feel without some pullback, might swap to a 6.5" pullback riser if i don't like it. Threw some thrashin essential bags on and really loving the look of it.
For you guys that have gone with short width bars, how does it change the handling. Stock bars are 35.5" inches wide, and I'm looking for something a bit narrower with a bit more rise and pull back. I put 2.75" riser extensions but could use a bit more rise and pull back.
