I ended up going for the Bassani radial sweepers and the arlen ness sidekick air cleaner - I love the noise and modding these bike is addictive!! Im addition Ive fitted running leds / indicators in the stock front light fittings and on the rear Ive fitted a combined led run/ stop/ signs under the seat along with a side mount plate! Next steps are probs levers, pegs and maybe a swingarm saddle bag - but either way I dont stop smiling when I rode it!!
At 6ft 2 ins tall i am finding the bob too low so am going for aftermarket shocks to improve the ride in general and the height. Anyone done this . Ideas please and views afterwards
I noticed this occurring near 100 mph and started trying to figure out what was happening. Long story short, if you are lightly pulling backwards on the handle bars the bike is stable.
When transferring slight weight over the bars, head shake occurs. I realized that at higher speeds, I crouch down to get less wind resistance and lean over the bars a bit.
Try it out. Even at lower speeds like 70-80 and lean forward and push down on the bars slightly, then make small movements left and right. Compare the handling repeating the same but leaning back a bit which naturally causes backward weight on the bars. Its much more stable.
This seems like a design flaw and thinking more about the physics. Generally why I had steering stabilizers on all my sport bikes but never experienced it this bad. Let me know if this happens to others and thoughts on resolution.
OK guys i am 6ft 1in and am looking for an aftermarket seat that can push me back a bit. I actually didn't mind the 2019 i have until i did a long journey and i realized then that i need something better. What seats are you guys running on your Fatbobs 114's....There are so many to choose from but what better than to get un biased views in here.....
