Or you could buy this and wire it up to plug into the existing port on the bike.
Hi... Can you use this type of a USB cable and the USB port to power the Garmin Zumo XT?
I have recently purchased an XT and I will install it on my 2022 Fat Bob.
But as far as I know, Zumo XT requires 12V external power to function properly and bright in daylight.
But the USB port on the bike outputs only 5 volts, right?
Actually, I have searched all the forum topics and I couldn't find any 12V external accessory connection to power the XT when the ignition is turned ON.
Since the Zumo XT is powered only by 2 cables ( red&black - power & negative), another alternative is to connect it directly to the battery. But if you leave the device on the bike, It will drain the battery in a short time...
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance...

You can connect directly to the battery and use a relay to hooked up to an ignition source in order to turn the power off when the bike is not running.
I finally sorted out my phone holder location to make it easier to see the GPS speedo etc. Just a quick knock up on the 3D printer to test it out and see if I like it..... so far so good.
