Hi Alan, are you talking about the pipes ? (sorry english is not my mother tongue).
If it's the pipes, they are coming from Kesstech (Germany). They are for me the best you can find worldwide, from a noise and quality point of you. Furthermore, they are Certified CE, meaning you can make as much as noise as you want on the road in Europe ;-)
It comes with a button (even a remote control if you prefer) that you put on your handle bar, that open or not the pipes (3 position: close, open or half open).
You can see a video of my fat bob on youtube here, where you will see them a bit better:
.
The exhaust noise on the video is by far not like in reality....

I know the Kesstech, it is the system as the Jeckyl & Hide but my question stays the same, what about the mapping (tune) ? You got 3 different exhausts, read backpressure, I'm
sure these exhausts are more for show then performance or to make noise at a legal way but performance wise I think they or no good.

The tuning (Stage 1) on my bike has been done with the Screaming Eagle tuner pro.
Such pipes do not usually increase performance, aside from opening the pipes which is giving a bit more power (and yes, more noise :-)
I was just mentioning that they are the best from a quality and sound point of view for me, compared to other brands.

Default Looking for FXFBS storage recommendations

I’m coming from a 2015 Road King to a 2019 Fat Bob 115, black denim. And totally loving it. Fantastic bike.

Still trying to figure out storage options though. I had the HD swingarm bag installed - good enough for phones, sunglasses, stuff like that. Not much more..

But I need a way to carry more for the daily commute (my laptop), or some space for a few cheese steaks and a six pack.

Was thinking of a taller sissybar with a Kuryakyn Momentum Deadbeat (or Freeloader) sissybar duffel.

Have any of you gone down this road or considered it?
What sissybar? Options seem limited for this bike.

Was also considering just getting a ***** and Max The Hooker under the stock passenger pullion, with a cargo net, but that seemed much less elegant and prone to **** falling all, over the place,,scratching the paint up, etc

Would love to hear your thoughts/experiences here. Thanks in advance!

I went with the “standard” hold fast sissy bar (the tallest you can get from HD right now). Bought the Deadbeat bag for a trip that I went on last week. Was kind of disappointed in the Deadbeat due to the lack of usable MOLLE on the bag. I threw a quick first impressions video of it on my YouTube channel before the trip, showing it lashed to the sissy bar, and will be doing a full post-trip review this weekend. I also ended up attaching the sport rack to my sissy bar before leaving. I found that was a great decision.

I’m assuming I can post a link to the video in the forum.

Hey I saw your video a few days ago on YouTube! Thanks for making that - very helpful, It’s what got me thinking in this direction! From what I gather, you had 2 issues with the setup: 1) The subpar MOLLE on the bag (not a big deal for me as I don’t think I’ll be attaching anything to it) and 2) The fit with the HD holdfast sissybar - it looked kind of sloppy, like there was some play in it even when cranked down. How much of an issue is this? Is it a minor forgettable irritant or a constant distraction.. something you end up trying to adjust while riding?

Glad it helped. When I was researching the bag myself I found that there was no real info on the Deadbeat on YouTube so I wanted to throw something out there. In the video, I only had the Deadbeat a little more than half packed out. When I went on the trip, I had it pretty much maxed with the top rolled down. The tie-down wasn't as bad as you see here. There is still the problem with the HD Hold Fast standard sissy bar being a few inches too short. It's only about 14.5" tall. I think a 21" would be much better. As it is, you still have to pull that top strap downward to thread it threw at the very top of the bar. There was no movement of the bag while riding at that point that I could detect. I decided to keep the bag to use for store runs and day rides. Still not happy that I can't attach my water bottle carrier and I'm really not happy with Kuryakyn. I posted a 3 star review of the bag on their product page letting people know about the misleading MOLLE issue. A couple of hours later my review was deleted and you only see the 1 five star rating someone gave it. Pretty shady behavior, if you ask me.

For the trip, I ended up adding the sport rack and bought a small Enduristan Tornado dry bag from Revzilla. It was a perfect fit on the FXFBS and between that and the Deadbeat, I had much more stuff with me than I needed for 3 days. I could easily do a week with that set up for clothes, rain gear, camera equipment, chargers, tripod, etc..The Enduristan doesn't come with straps but a couple of RokStraps worked nicely. I should be dropping the full review of the Deadbeat and Enduristan on the channel Monday morning.

Hope this helps. I really struggled trying to figure out storage on my bike while staying away from saddle bags.
