It looks as though the new Low Rider S is the bike we all want our Fat Bob's to become. USD forks and brakes from the Bob, 114 motor, 18 and 19 inch wheels offering a greater range of grippy performance tyres, cafe race fairing and a passing hint of 70's XLCR
For me, I love my Fat Bob but just wanted to newest, latest and greatest. After not trading, I am glad I didn't and have a stronger appreciation for my Fat Bob. Based on the specs, it's essentially the same bike with a few minor differences.

Its a nice bike but it looks just like any other Harley. The fat bob is unique, that what I like about it.
On that note, has anyone looked into whether the 5 gallon tank from the Low Rider S can be fitted on to our fat bob?
I've looked into it and I believe it can be done. Just depends on what that extra 1.4 gallons is worth to you. Dealer told me it'd be $2,500 to $3,000 to do the conversion. Sourcing the parts myself, it looks like a tank and pump are $1,000 from Surdyke, plus painting the tank. The question is on fitting the instrument cluster back on the tank, since the 5-gallon tanks use a different bracket. You might have to cut that off and fabricate a bracket, or try to fabricate some sort of adapter, so the instrument cluster would fit.
I agree with just about everything they said, but ranked them on different criteria. They said the Fat Bob was "the most fun to ride" and the one that forged the most emotional connection. To me, that makes it the winner.
I agree the clamshell riding position on the FXDR is just too extreme and ruled it out for me. I liked the Diavel a lot, but the Fat Bob just slays it in the looks department.
Anyone know a good range for the tire pressure on the stock Dunlops?
I see 36psi for the front and 40 for the rear, but I just bought the FOBO Bike 2 tire pressure monitors. Pretty cool. It asks for you to set a range before you get an alert, so how far above and how far below should I set that?
2018 Fat Bob 114.
I dont have a manual and could not find this online.
