Recently purchased a Kuryakyn nova license plate holder that relocates the license plate to the left side swing arm on my 2018 FXBRS. The stock license plate holder (black) is part of the left side tail light support, so the arm that holds the plate needs to be cut off or removed all together. I would prefer to remove it. If I can find a left side tail light support that is the same length as the stock support on the right side. That way the lights remain spaced the same distance on each side of the fender. My question is does any one know if I purchase another right side tail light support can it be used on the left side? Is there a locator or an obstruction that I cannot see while the support is installed that would prevent me from installing it on the left side. Has anyone here relocated their plate & if so what did they do about the stock plate holder?
Yes,it'll work. That's what I did. I like the plate holder alot!
Very heavy-duty / well made...
Cool, thanks for the info & the picture Superdog. I’m going to order a new stock right side taillight support & use it on the left side. Looking forward to getting rid of that stock tag holder that’s just floating out there in no mans land. The tag holder looks good on your bike.
I hated that thing. Had it turned verticle, that helped, but.... Only bad thing about ours that I can think of is, might be hard, if not impossible to mount a swingarm bag. Not sure if I like em anyway. Handy prolly
Hey guys, Im pretty new in here. Im riding a FXBR 107ci and I wanna go big. Recently Screamin Eagle released their new 128 & 131ci big bore kits. I guess the 128ci big bore kit might be enough. But I would like to know if you guys think the 131ci will also fit into my frame!?
I got the same bike. If I fall into some $$$, I want one too!
Seriously, I don't see any reason the engine wouldn't fit. I have read, that you can't use a 131 "kit" on the 107. Hafta get the entire engine. Post some pix man!!!???

Get a good motor guy, split the cases & go 145" or just do the 128 top end you have a better power to weight ratio than a bagger the kit SE cnc gen 2 heads work great

Thanks for your hint! Do you think there will be enough material to go for 145? Might be interesting as well. I also saw the 124 Revolution Performance Big Bore Kit with NAC plated cylinders. What do you think, will fit a 128 BBKit (oil cooled) also on a 107 Engine? Because their selling the 128 BBKit only for 114 / 117 M8 engines. But as SE says go big or go home😅 Or should I get a 114 (water cooled) engine with ECU to go bigger? Whats the main difference between a 107 (oil cooled) engine and a 114 (oil cooled) engine except the bore size of the cylinders?
