There is indeed a factory imposed speed limiter. We are working on updates to be able to manipulate this in the FP3 app. We have succeeded in identifying the tableon the ECM that controls it and are now transferring that to our infrastructure. We are hoping to have that feature out within the next month or so. So hopefully I have monday my M6050 and see if that is going to see that limiter, keep you all posted.
Doesnt surprise me. the FP3 is a good tuner, but very “simplified” from what I’ve seen. The Power Vision is much more detailed. Allows you to touch all aspects of the tune tables.

You can wait the month, of pick up a PV and edit it tomorrow...

Does the Power Vision needs to be connected to bike all the time or can you do the tune or whatever and reove it ?

On the Iron and the 48 I leave the FP3 on but on my Breakout it is of the bike and the tune still works. I do not need to see the features all the time, that is more gadget
that you like to see in the beginning, like I did on my smartphone with the FP3 but is not needed.

Its a flash tuner, so you can mod the tune all you want on your PC, save it to the PV, hook it up to the bike, flash it, and remove it. Nice thing is you can also leave it connected, put it on your handlebars and set it up so you have a nice set of gauges much closer to your field of view. Probably less important for models with the new digital gauges on the bar clamp, but for the gauge on the tank bikes, it really helps. You can also use it as gauges and read/reset (I think reset?) codes on any bike, even if married to another. I’ve got a couple old PV’s that I’ve used as gauges on bikes that weren’t eligible for a PV tune, like those wih EPA sensitive warranty concerns...

Like this on my Road King.

Thanks for the info, I maybe consider a PV but want to wait on the M6050 that hopefully monday arrives, if there is no possibility of that, I will consider the PV. The FP3 can also delete
the error codes on another bike that it is not married to and the fancy gauges you see on the smartphone .In the beginning I did but afterwards no more, I don't like to be something on
the handlebar. But that is everyone's taste of course, I still have a new FP3 but also have a 10% discount voucher for a PV so.... have to think about it.

I am the same way I dont like gadgets on my handlebars i dont even use a cell phone mount ,but I carry the PV with me at all times ,in my swingarm bag ,just in case I need to check something on the bike .as for the top speed of your bike .I can relate to your gripe about the top speed , HD should had made this bike, to be, the fastest HD ,straight from the factory .even with simple bolt on mods most models with the same bolt on mods you put on your bike will be just as fast .take Mchads bike for example. I belive , in order to make this model a step above the rest you will have to change out the gearing , you may lose low end .but top end will be high .this is just an assumption,i wouldn't lose any sleep on top speed if I had your bike ,when it all boils down it all about the rider , coming from riding sportbikes for over 30 years a great rider on a 600cc sportbike will spank a sportbike rider on a 1000cc bike ,same goes with any HD , you can have all the power you want on it and someone with the right skills on a stock HD will spank you all day ,I say enjoy the bike for what it is , its a bad *** ,bike , and you have riding sportbikes so ,you shouldn't have any problems ,keeping others at bay

Did you try again in different gears, (4,5 or 6th) just to see if it was a RPM limit or a speed govern issue? I believe all US models are speed governed, but do not know if Non-US models have the same limits.

The US FXFBS speed limiter is present in all gears. Don't know about non-US models.

I was on the German autobahn and in top gear, so in 6th gear, it is like someone hold you back at 193kph. The engine sounds good and you feel that there will be more in it but
doesn't comes out.

I'll wait untill next week to see what I'm going to do. I already downloded the PV software and the map for FXFBS and under "Limits&Switches" there is a speed limiter that you
can alter. I al so emailed a local dealer where I have a 10% discount coupon to ask if he have the right PV for my FXFBS, I do not know if there is a difference between them.

Should this one fit my 2018 ?

The setting on the PV software I downloaded.
