Default Anyone try Shinko 777hd ?

Was running Shinko 890s on my VTX 1800. They were a great tire. Shinko doesnt make those in WWW .. so I guess its the 777hd if I want to go Shinko.

Anyone try them on the 2018 Softy ??

I put the 777 HD180/65-16 and 777 110/90-19 on my Low Rider Softail. They were relatively easy to mount. They run true, are very smooth with 1 oz front 2 oz rear balancing beads. After getting a scratch on them, they started sticking like glue! They handle sandy roads way better than the hard scorchers. The rear has a rounder profile than the scorcher, so turn in is more quick. The front tire is about the same as stock. The sizes I put on are appropriate for the rim widths according to Shinko specs, but the rear has 5 mm less aspect than the Scorcher. It is a few percent smaller dia. The front is the same as stock. These are black wall bias ply tires. I have about 800 miles on them and am pleased. Today I was caught out in a frog croaker and the tires stuck really well.

I've been running them on my Road King for multiple sets - Love 'em - They hook up , corner great.& smooth to 120 mph. I have extra giddy - up and with Dunlops all I got was wheel spin. Pirelli Night Dragons worked good but the Shinko 777s feel better in the corners - I can brake deep into the corner & power on early - Eastcoast Jim
