I have a 2018 softail lowrider and am looking to do a stage one. For pipes im between fab 28, 2bros, and thrashin. If anyone has experience with any please give your opinion.
im not really sure what air cleaner to get i just know i dont want anything big like the cone style or big oval. Im leaning toward the s&s or screaming eagle but am open to suggestions. I would prefer lower profile.
And as far as tuner i dont have a pc so the dynojet is out. For some reason i keep coming back to the fuel pack but i dont have any experience or knowledge on tuners so again any advice is appreciated.
Gidday mate ,
I like you have just been through this dilemma , Ive had little steps along the way.
Rinehart Slip ons when i bought the bike.
FP3 Fuelpack last week installed now.
Looking for the air cleaner now i am liking the Arlen ness Velocity 65 chrome.
The 3.5inch Slip ons and FP3 are so so good , bike runs so smooth no jerky jerky sewing machine any more

thanks for the reply. Ive decided im definitely going with the fp3 and the s&s stealth but im still up in the air between fab 28 and tbr turn out.
A Stage I for me was mostly to make more noise, but I wanted to be able to use these components in future upgrades.
S&S Super Street race exhaust.
Arlen Ness Big Sucker AC.
Power Vision tuner.
Fuel Moto pre loaded the tune to make it easy for me.
Runs great.
So I have just bought this Big Sucker for my FXLR to compliment the FP3 and Rinehart Slip ons , i will use the stock Dog Bowl Chrome cover to start with , so thats my Stage 1 Complete now.....
Hows it all coming along are you happy with your Purchase ? fill us in how good is the FP3
All parts are in. I went with the two bros turn out. I purchased everything over black friday and cyber weekend and saved a decent amount of money. This is going to be my winter project. Decided to wait till next winter to do cams and oil pump. My "plan" is to take the pipe off to polish it up at least after evey season. So that will be next winter but i will update when im done woth the stage 1. Should be soon.
