2020 Street Bob here. What exhaust would you recommend that is loud and looks cool? some of the exhausts I've seen that have caught my eye are the V&H big radius, the s&s cycle two into two upswept, And two brothers racing two into one shorty.

I'm happy with the power of my bike, but it sounds like **** compared to some other bikes I've heard.

Thanks!

I think a 2-1 exhaust would significantly change the looks of that bike. I rode several 18+ Softails that had either the V&H Short Shots or the Bigshots. I’d start there - they sound great on an M8.

all that said, if you like the 2-1, I’d recommend the Bassani Road Rage - sounds fantastic on my FLFBS.

I have the V&H Big Radius and without any silencer it is loud as hell , keep in mind that my bike is lowered, so on a stock bike you have more ground clearance.

Those pipes really go well with the lines of the bike! does the exhaust come with silencers that are removable? Or is that something you had to cut or hack away?

Check out this LINK on Harley exhaust. You may find it useful.

Pick out the exhaust you like the look of. Pull the baffles out to un-muffle it. You will get a big drop in power, and a bit of a blubbery sound. Install some Thunder Torque Inserts™, this will get all the power back, and then some. It will also slightly deepen the tone, but it will still be loud.

Get a D&D. One of the best performers you can get. Plenty loud, but not "hey look at me, I'm an obnoxious *******" loud.

Why would you ever want loud without power?

Thats just converting fuel to noise without the byproduct of horsepower.

If you look for power in the first place, the exhaust will almost always sound badass as a free byproduct.
