Wow...so moving the shift lever down one notch on spline results in 1.5 in change downward. The peg is now very close to boot... rode a bit seems a bit tight to me and may move it back. How do most folks have theirs set.. peg right of next to boot... or a bit of room?
The reason I'm moving the lever down.. I sometimes get false neutrals from 1st to 2nd. Think im not completing the shift sometimes do to distance of my peg to boot... which at factory setting about 1.5"

For fine adjustment you need to adjust the length of the shift rod that goes from the front of the bike back to the transmission lever.
