The digital temp readings of a Twin Cam to a M8 side by side are not really accurate, the temp sensors between the two motors are in different locations....apples to oranges. My 110 Twin Cam was notoriously a 'hot' running motor, it had temp readings in the 300+ range all the time and felt very hot...my 114 M8 according to my PV digital display is also in the 300 range and is definitely not as hot of a motor as the twin cam. The temp sensors are not in the same location...one is near the front and one near the rear cylinder, I forget which has which. In addition, on the PV there is head temp and engine temp as options...so need to ensure both are being measured the same on both motors.

M8's run much cooler than TC's , yours may have a problem.
