Does speedometer mileage need to be set at harley
Hey guys,
I just got word today that my replacement speedo is in for my 2019 heritage. Issue is that I ordered it months ago and have been riding it around since then. Is the mileage stored on the computer and not on the actual speedo? When I first got it ordered the harley tech said that they would need to hold onto my after it gets ordered so that the mileage matches because they can't set it at the dealership. Any help is appreciated!

That is what my service manual implies. Older bikes used a process to transfer the odometer reading from one speedometer to another.
