I know there are multiple threads, but between turning the fuel regulator 180 around and changing out the pump, there hasn't been a confirmed thing to fix it.
My problem:
Whenever out riding, and coming to a stop, there is a strong gas fume, enough to make my eyes water.
Tried various tunes, and plugs look good, which leads me to think it isn't a rich symptom.
I also logged a few runs and had a fellow forumer look at the log, and he confirms VEs are on point.
I am ready to pull the tank out & try a few things.
Just wondering if anyone has experienced similar and can offer advice?

Thanks in advance y'all
Let the dealer do it since it's a Harley warranty issue.
You could try changing the vapor valve. Have you taken off the dash to make sure the line hasn't come loose or kinked? Your going to get some smell but sound like yours is extreme.
When I first picked up my bike, I noticed the smell after getting it home. Took it back and they looked into it and didn't find a problem. I do notice a gas smell whenever I go into my garage. The only thing I could think of is unburned fuel in the exhaust but they tell me it's not running rich.
Maybe a stupid question, but did you happen to have an aftermarket fuel cap fitted ?
That was the problem for me on my FXFBS, every time I had driven and placed the bike in the garage, after about 5 ŕ 10 minutes or so there was a pungent gasoline smell in the garage, it turned
out to be just the aftermarket fuel cap that I had mounted on and I replaced it with the oem again and the smell was gone.
